The NDIA Rocky Mountain Chapter is proud to present the 41st Annual Rocky Mountain Ball at the DoubleTree by Hilton on Friday, August 16, 2024. Please join us for this widely attended gathering of retired and active-duty military, civilians, and industry VIPs.

We will celebrate the recipient of the prestigious James V. Hartinger Award, Lt. Gen. (ret) John E. Shaw, most recently the Deputy Commander of US Space Command. Lt. Gen. Shaw will be the 41st recipient of this award, joining previous honorees such as Gen Colin L. Powell, Gen Howell M. Estes III, Gen Ralph E. “Ed” Eberhart, MG G. Wesley Clark, and Gen John W. “Jay” Raymond.

In addition, we will once again recognize outstanding Front Range-area defense community members for their dedicated service with the Patriot Awards.

Dignitaries from all branches of service and some of our sister nations (such as Canada, the United Kingdom, Australia, and New Zealand) will be in attendance, as well as local and national government leaders along with senior leadership from defense industry corporations.

The Ball is hosted by the Rocky Mountain Chapter of the Association, with NDIA member companies participating in the purchase of tables, sponsorships, or seats at the event.  Government guests, as always, attend free of charge and are seated with industry hosts.

After the reception, dinner, and awards, hit the dance floor with Last Patrol, a high-energy variety band covering 70’s classic, 80’s new wave, 90’s alternative, 00’s rock, funk, reggae, and ska! Last Patrol consists of two retired Army soldiers, one retired Navy sailor, and a military family member; they regularly support active military, veteran, and first responder organizations from their base in Colorado Springs.

Party flats will be provided for the ladies, and gentlemen in uniform are invited to wear their favorite mess dress party shirts. The dance party will be accompanied by dessert and coffee.
