Rocky Mountain NDIA is proud to present the 43rd Annual Rocky Mountain Ball at the DoubleTree by Hilton on a new date: Friday, May 29, 2025. Please join us for this widely attended gathering of retired and active-duty military, civilians, and industry VIPs.
We will celebrate the recipient of the prestigious James V. Hartinger Award, Lt Gen David N. Miller, Jr., Deputy Chief of Space Operations, Strategy, Plans, Programs and Requirements,, US Space Force. Gen. Miller will be the 43rd recipient of this award, joining previous honorees such as Gen Chance Saltzman, Gen James H. Dickinson, Gen Stephen N. Whiting, Gen Colin L. Powell, Gen Howell M. Estes III, Gen Ralph E. “Ed” Eberhart, MG G. Wesley Clark, and Gen John W. “Jay” Raymond.
In addition, we will once again recognize outstanding Front Range-area defense community members for their dedicated service with the Patriot Awards.
Dignitaries from all service branches and some of our sister nations (such as Canada, the United Kingdom, Australia, and New Zealand) will attend as well as local and national government leaders. Senior leadership from defense industry corporations will also join us.
The Ball is hosted by the Rocky Mountain Chapter of NDIA, whose member companies purchase of tables, sponsorships, or seats at the event. All proceeds support NDIARMC’s STEM education efforts such as The Edge of Space and Rocket Day. Government guests, as always, attend free of charge and are seated with industry hosts.
After the reception, dinner, and awards, hit the dance floor with SofaKillers, a high-energy live band from Colorado Springs bringing dance-driven rock and crowd-favorite hits that keep the party moving all night. Party flats will be provided for the ladies, and gentlemen in uniform are invited to wear their favorite mess dress party shirts. The dance party will be accompanied by dessert and coffee.
