Bob Peterson served as President of the Rocky Mountain Chapter of NDIA from October 2005 to September 2007. This followed his stint as President of the Greater Los Angeles Chapter of NDIA during his Lockheed Martin assignment in Los Angeles from 1999 to 2004. Mr. Peterson served as Vice President of Space Programs, Lockheed Martin Corporate Business Development, from January 2004 until his retirement in February 2009. Before joining Lockheed in 2003, he served as a meteorologist, missileer, and space requirements officer in the Air Force for 26 years. He retired in the grade of Colonel on January 1, 1993. Following his retirement from Lockheed Martin, he established RG Peterson Consulting, LLC. He continues active in many groups, including NDIA, AFA, Pikes Peak Round Table, Colorado Thirty Group, The Home Front Cares, and the Colorado Consortium of Earth and Space Studie
