Chuck Zimkas retired as President of the Space Foundation after completing a distinguished 27-year career with the organization. He played a key role in the continued success of the annual Space Symposium, the Space Foundation’s relocation to its current world headquarters, and the creation of the Space Foundation Discovery Center. The Space Foundation established the Chuck and Ursula Zimkas Space Library at its world headquarters in 2013 to recognize their long-time service and volunteer contributions.
