Committees play a crucial role within the NDIA Rocky Mountain Chapter. These groups are responsible for organizing and executing various events and initiatives, from fundraising to networking. By joining a committee, members have the opportunity to collaborate with others who share similar interests and goals. Committees also provide leadership opportunities for members, allowing them to gain valuable experience and build relationships within the industry. Additionally, committees serve as a valuable resource for fostering innovation and addressing industry challenges.
The NDIA Rocky Mountain Chapter is committed to supporting and empowering its committees to make a meaningful impact on the community and the defense industry. Members are encouraged to get involved and take advantage of the many benefits of participating in committees.
Awards
The Awards Committee of the NDIA Rocky Mountain Chapter takes great pride in their important duty of recognizing and celebrating exceptional contributions made within the defense industry. By shining a spotlight on these outstanding achievements, we ensure that those who have gone above and beyond in their efforts are properly acknowledged and appreciated. We look forward to continuing to recognize and celebrate the exceptional talent and dedication that drives our industry forward.
Communications
The Communications Committee is responsible for disseminating information about Rocky Mountain Chapter events, activities, relevant announcements and all information that is important to our members (and in some cases to the public).
The committee uses a variety of methods for distribution, including Constant Contact, Survey Monkey, LinkedIn (and other social media), and news posts/announcements on NDIARMC.org
Events and Activities
The Rocky Mountain Chapter hosts numerous events each year focused on the exchange of information, educational development of our members, special classified topics, luncheons, holiday events, social and networking events, the IMAGE golf tournament, and the nationally recognized NDIA Rocky Mountain Ball.
Rocky Mountain Ball
The Rocky Mountain Ball Committee is focused on the planning and execution of the annual NDIA Ball. This premier NDIA Rocky Mountain Chapter event is attended by local and national military, government, and industry leaders and includes the planning, nomination, and award of the prestigious Hartinger Award. Additionally, the Rocky Mountain Chapter inaugurated the Patriot Award program in 2008 to recognize exceptional Individuals who are serving their country in the military services. The recognition is focused on military personnel stationed in the Colorado Springs area representing the major military organizations and bases and is a highlight of the NDIA RMC Ball.
