The Space Force Association has joined forces with Rocky Mountain NDIA to co-sponsor the Small Business Social on 17 Jul 2024. We’re excited to partner with the Falzarano Chapter (Colorado Springs) SFA to help area small businesses compete for and secure defense industry contracts.
Toward that end, the evening will feature a panel of local defense industry and governmental influencers:
Jessica Kimber is Colorado Springs’ Economic Development Officer. Previously, Kimber was the Vice President of Defense Development at the Colorado Springs Chamber & EDC and served the City as special assistant to former Mayor John Suthers. No stranger to the defense community, Kimber is a graduate of the College of Naval Warfare, U.S. Marine Corps University, and the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs. Kimber served in the U.S. Navy for 24 years.
Infinity Systems Engineering President Dan Jaworoski is responsible for both the short- and long-term visions of the company, managing the executive team, controlling budgets, establishing policies and strategies, and fulfilling Infinity’s mission. Dan has extensive experience in aerospace and defense as a major portfolio manager and business leader. Infinity just celebrated 28 years of success in the aerospace and defense systems business.
Also joining will be Peterson Space Force Base Small Business Executive Robert Walter. The 50th at Peterson Schriever Garrison commands satellites to deliver decisive global effects. It supports a global network of installations which have satellite command and control equipment, including the Air Warfare Center. Their major contracts include Obscura Mission Integration and Network Support (OMINS), Wing Information and Communication System (WICS), and Innovation, Integration and Information Support (3IS). The 50th obligates approximately $93M in contracts annually.
Bonus: NDIA and SFA members will get a first look at the Space Foundation’s newly expanded Discovery Center, now with eight exhibits and four interactive labs covering 3,000 square feet!
NDIA & SFA members: $15
Non-members: $20
Includes hors d’oeuvres, cash bar, and access to the new Discovery Center … for less than the cost of a regular admission ticket!
Don’t miss this opportunity to get some face time with fellow defense community influentials. Together, Rocky Mountain NDIA and Falzarano Chapter SFA will be hosting the best defense industry networking opportunity in town!
