Description
NDIA Rocky Mountain Chapter, along with The Colorado Small Government Contractor Collaborative (“The Smalls”) are co-hosting a virtual “Colorado Small Business Roundtable” with our local Colorado representatives in Congress who also serve on their respective Chamber Small Business Committees. Senator Hickenlooper and Representative Crow will discuss the “State of Small Business Concerns in Congress” and take questions on small business concerns.
Colorado is fortunate to have representation in both chambers of Congress on the respective Small Business Committees and the Rocky Mountain Chapter and its Small Business Committee is pleased to provide a forum for our Representatives to meet with the small businesses of Colorado. The virtual roundtable format affords small businesses the opportunity to hear the plans of our elected representatives, Senator Hickenlooper and Representative Crow, to share their small business concerns both collectively and individually, and to meet the Representative’s staff who will support resolving the issues addressed during the Roundtable and in the future.
The 90-minute program begins with a short introduction of the NDIA Small Business Committee and the other organizations supporting the small business community in Colorado followed by 45 minutes of interaction with Senator Hickenlooper and Representative Crow to include a question-and-answer period. The event concludes with the staff of the Representative’s remaining for the additional time to record concerns and follow-up on questions and concerns presented by Small Businesses.
