Dress for the Ball: Mess Dress/Black tie
The National Defense Industrial Association Rocky Mountain Chapter is proud to be presenting the 39th Annual Rocky Mountain Ball. This year’s ball will be held at the Double Tree Hilton on August 19, 2022. As always, this is a black-tie event (mess dress) considered a widely attended gathering with a mixture of retired and active-duty military, civilians, and industry. We invite you to participate.
We will once again present the Hartinger Award at the Ball honoring Lieutenant General Stephen N. Whiting, Commander, Space Operations Command (SpOC).
We will also present our Patriot Awards honoring military members who have gone above and beyond in the performance of their mission. We will be posting more information about the Patriot Awards recipient as we get closer to the Ball.
We will have dignitaries from all branches of service and some of our sister nations such as Canada, the United Kingdom, Australia, and New Zealand as well as corporate VIPs in attendance.
The Ball is hosted by the Rocky Mountain Chapter of the Association with NDIA member companies participating in the purchase of tables, sponsorships, or seats at the event. Government guests, as always, are not charged for attending and are seated with industry hosts. Government guests at the general officer level are seated in the VIP area. With the purchase of a ten-seat table, the industry provides four seats at their table for government guests which are assigned by the Ball Committee. The Ball Committee uses great care in the seating process to avoid potential conflicts of interest between the government and industry participants.
- Individuals may purchase up to 2 Individual Seat tickets.
- NDIA Ball attendees must be 21 years or older.
- Any National or Chapter Member of NDIA may purchase up to two Individual Seats.
- Purchasers of Individual Seats may not purchase VIP seats.
- Purchasers of Individual Seats will, at the discretion of the Ball Committee, be seated at an Individual Seat Table in the Ballroom that may, or may not, have government guests.
